Scholarship Information

The CCBSA is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to assist in the payment of tuition and training-related materials for continuing education.

Miller Management and Consulting Group Scholarship

Thanks to a generous in-kind donation from Miller Management and Consulting Group, the CCBSA previously released a scholarship opportunity for upcoming virtual Master Municipal Clerk Academy. For details, please click here. Applications were due Friday, June 11, 2021.

CCBSA Scholarship

The qualified classes will focus on the Clerk of the Board mandated functions or for those classes that are directly related towards obtaining the CCBSA Certified COB designation. Clerks of the Board of Supervisors or those who perform the function of the Clerks of the Board of Supervisors shall be eligible to apply for these funds. Scholarships can range in award from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $1,000. Please see Appendix A of the CCBSA Bylaws.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERIA
 
The criteria for selection is based upon the following:

  • Completed Scholarship Application Form
  • Be a Clerk of the Board or do the work of the Clerk of the Board
  • Be a member of CCBSA
  • Length of time as a Clerk of the Board
  • Officer of CCBSA
  • Be a member in good standing
  • Financial need
  • Personal statement of 500 words or less

Type of qualifying educational class: 

  • Class that is directly related to Clerk of the Board mandated functions
  • Class qualifies toward CCBSA Certification
  • CSAC/CCBSA Annual Conference
CCBSA Scholarship Now Available!
This scholarship is to assist with tuition and training-related materials for continuing education (as with the CCBSA annual meeting) and can range from $50 to a maximum of $1,000. The application is now available. Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis.
