Certified Clerk of the Board Program

Certified Clerk CoverThe Certified Clerk of the Board (CCB) program has been created to recognize those Clerks of the Board who have achieved a level of professionalism and leadership in their position. Certification is granted after an applicant has met specific requirements in education, experience and professional participation and contributions. The CCB program is available only to those members of the California Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Association (CCBSA) who meet the required criteria.

Technical Training for Clerks (TTC)

The Technical Training for Clerks (TTC) is approved by International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for the professional hours needed to receive a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation. It is also a certificate program of the University of California Riverside Extension Center. Graduates are eligible to receive a California Professional Municipal Clerk certificate from the university with no additional courses. These training sessions apply towards the CCB program.
